Modern Day Pirate Contest!

December 19th 2011

GTM has teamed up with Electric Artists and Atari to give away three copies of Sid Meier's Pirates!, one signed by the creator himself!

First Place Prize (1):
A PC copy of Pirates!, signed by creator Sid Meier!

Second Place Prizes (2):
A copy of Sid Meier's Pirates! for the PC.

How to Win:

We here at GTM would like to know of the coolest swashbuckling event you have done. You could tell us about finding a secret treasure, commandeering a friend's car, or pillaging a local establishment. Just kidding on the last one, we would like to keep these stories within legal limits.

You may also send us pictures of pirate Halloween costumes you've worn in the past, or a classic pirate story you have written. Anything pirate-related is fine by us.

To enter, please email us your first and last name, mailing address, age, and your pirate-related story. Email this information to contest@games-that-matter.com.

Winning entries:

  • The best pirate story will win the signed copy of Sid Meier's Pirates!
  • The two second place prizes will be distributed through a random drawing. Good luck!

Contest Rules:

All entries to this contest must be received by January 20th at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. This contest is open to United States and Canadian residents. Only one enter is allowed per person.
More than one email or entry by an individual will remove that individual from the contest.

Winners will be chosen at random and announced on January 21st at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The winners shall be notified via email and the list of winners will be posted on the GTM web site.

Winners must reply to the email within one week, or else another winner will be chosen.

Employees of GTM, Electric Artists, or Atari are not permitted to enter.
