Super Monkey Ball is a fun puzzle game. Its full of action and is pretty fast paced. Another good factor is that its fun for all ages. It is basically a childrens game but small children probably wouldn't be able to get past the 5th level.
There are several modes you can play such as Multiplayer bonus games, mini games, challanges etc. Up to 4 players can play a mini challange to try for the high score.
The graphics on Super Monkey Ball are nice also. They ares smooth, clean and well done. Never will you notice a slowdown in the game because of graphics.
The Mini-Games in SMB are really cool. There is Bowling, Pool, and Mini Golf. In bowling (you being the ball), you press various buttons to get the highest score you can. In Pool you are the cue ball as you shoot yourself around the table knocking the balls in the pockets. The pool rules are based on the game of 9-ball. The oblect is to put the balls in order from 1 ball to the 9 ball.
In single player, you roll yourself through obsticals to collect all the bananas or get to the finish in a certain amount of time. When you finish a level, you shoot up to the next floor. As you progress The game gets tougher and tougher.
I think the game is one of the best of to 10 or so release games on the Came Cube. Its fun and easy to learn. If you want a nice game to go with your new Gamecube Pick Super Monkey Ball, Or Star Wars: Rogue Leader
