As
many of you know from the small "teaser" image
I put up around a month ago, the editors here at GTM have
been working on making a fun little film based around the
world of Grand Theft Auto.
Of
course, it is toned down considerably, but it should still
be pretty cool and funny. It isn't meant to be taken seriously,
and we are keeping it pretty light.
The
following pictures are from a day of filming we had on April
26, 2010. Yes, the quality is complete and utter garbage,
but you'll get the idea. One of these days, someone on the
GTM Staff will have to get a real digital camera...
Plot:
This
movie isn't meant to be centered around too much of a plot,
but there is somewhat of a story going on during the mindless
violence and chaos.
A
young man (Jake) decides to play some Grand Theft Auto 3,
but ends up falling asleep and being transported into the
world of GTA: Suburbia. Here he must find away to make connection
with the local mob boss (Bryce), steal some cars, take out
any punk in his way, and try to avoid a bounty hunter (Jim)
who has his name.
Cast:
·Jake Sorensen as "No Name Main Character"
·Jim England as "Silent Bounty Hunter"
·Bryce Trem as "Random Suburbia Mob Boss"
·Evan Frasz as "Gang Member / Random Pedestrian"
·Mike Peterson as "Chester the Molester / Random
Hick / Random Pedestrian"
·Nick Sack as "Gang Member / Random Pedestrian"
·Luke Treu as "Random Pedestrian"
·Zack Ober as "Random Pedestrian"
This
is just the list of people who are already in existing scenes...
other people including Brian Hoffman, Brian Baumgartner,
Benji Hopkins, Patrick Brandt, Mike Stephens, and possibly
more.
