Website News
GTM has made an impressive appearance this week. One of N65's quotes about Worms 3D actually managed to make it on to the official Acclaim website. Congratulations! Also, a new reviewer has joined the ranks of GTM's staff, TheFlood, a resident of Strongsville, one of the few cities/towns I DON'T hate. Oh, and if anyone is interested in making a banner for the site, there is a banner competition going on, check General Discussion on the boards for more info, yo. Hmm... I've also been instructed to inform the general public that something "special" will emerge on GTM in a flurry of man-made smoke and strobe lights, woo...

Editor's Pick

I will be using this section every week to share what games I've currently been playing and what I think about them with the readers. This week, I've still been playing a bit of Battlefield, but it's definitely starting to get old. We've also continued playing Dungeon Seige over the course of the week, and we are starting to get somewhat high level finally. I'd also like to add that I've rediscovered how good of a game Tribes 2 is at last weekend's mini-LAN. Tribes 2 is definitely underrated and should be played much more at LANs, but the problem is that it isn't as easy to pick up as other FPS's, so people get easily discouraged. Another wonderful game I need to mention is Gunbird. It's a sweet arcade game that can be found at Roseland Lanes, but you can download it for MAME if you don't feel like going all the way out there. It's a classic hardcore shooter similar in style to Ikaruga. Try it, you'll like it. The last "new" game iv'e played this week is Activeworlds. I used to play Activeworlds a long time ago, but haven't touched it in about 5 or 6 years. I just logged on yesterday and found my old city, which is actually still standing. If you care to see it, download the game from www.activeworlds.com and teleport to: <World:aw> <Coordinates: 2292N 650W>. Bear in mind that this was made over 5 years ago... :) I'd also like to redcommend a wonderful TV show that you should all watch this week. Frekazoid! It's an amazing show with sweet cultural references and the such in it. Not to mention it's hilarious! So get out there and download Freakazoid episodes!

Trivia Challenge
Because the newletter didn't reach very many people last week, I will repeat last weeks question and add a new one. Last weeks trivia question concerns the MIDI, heat.mid, that is attached to this E-Mail. Just E-Mail me the name of the game that this song was first heard in. I will decide how specific I want to be once I see the number of replies I receive. Good luck, you'll need it! HINT: The answer I'm looking for doesn't involve the name of the file at all! OK, now for this weeks question: What is the name of the dog used in MANY Enix games? Hopefully, I'll actually get some responses this week so I can start scoring...

SNOW DAYS!
Kenston experienced multiple snow days this week and it was rather nice. Also, brace yourselves, because for the first time I've ever heard, Gilmour had a snow day!! <Dramatic Noise> For me, the 2 days we had off served mostly as a medium for Dungeon Seige :)
