Dark Age Of Camelot Review

Dark Age of Camelot is the newest online RPG. Mythic Entertainment came out with solution to many of Everquest's (the most popular MMORPG) problems. The game is much more fast paced than previous games.

The game takes place in the famous time of Camelot. Arthur has just died, and his realm of Albion has fallen into disarray. Three Kingdoms wage war for territory, pride, or just a desperate attempt to save a fallen kingdom.

The Midgard realm is a barbaric place full of strange and powerful creatures. The capital city is Jordheim, the mountain pass town full of strengthened warriors. The players and inhabitants of Midgard hope to expand their kingdom by destroying and conquering their rivals. You can choose to be Trolls, Dwarves, Norsemen, and Kobolds. The base classes are Vikings, Seer, Mystic, and Rogue. They then specialize into ones such as Shaman, Healer, Thane, Spiritmaster, and many more.

The realm of Hibernia is the most magically inclined of the the three realms. The land is made up of forests and hills for the druids of Hibernia to hone their powers. Many fantastic races and creatures populate the realms. Their home capital city is Tir na Nog, a city full of magic and intrigue. Classes include Enchanters, Bards, Druids, and many more.

The kingdom of Albion is disorganized. King Arthur has died. Albion is home to Camelot, an honorable city of valor and pride. Albions inhabitants must work together to unify Camelot and bring peace once again to the lands. Among the turmoil of Arthur's death Albion is at war with Midgard and Hibernia. it is up to Albion defenders to win the war and save Camelot from being overthrown. Albion classes include Wizards, Paladins, Armsman, Minstrels, and many more.

The actual game play is allot like a 3rd person RPG. You must fight monsters and wild creatures to gain experience and power. You also can train in many magical and fighting skills. Each level you become more and more skilled; magic-users gain more spells and mana.

Dark Age of Camelot promises to be a strong contender in the online gaming world for a long time to come.
