Worms 2 is a cult classic for any hardcore strategy gamer. Mixed with British humor and funky worms with crazy weapons, this game makes any LAN party an instant hit. Worms 2, in my opinion, is the best of the whole series, making everything the most user friendly and easy to fit the users preferences. After beating the whole game, and having everything unlocked, the player is able to have the full effect of the game, making it the most fun and most dangerous.
The graphics in Worms 2 arenât very important when it comes down to things but when you see the funny little worms crawl along the terrain with huge, destructive, weapons, its all the better. Everything in worms is customizable and every graphic has a cartoon ting which adds the whole Worms effect.
The voice schemes and the sounds that come from all of the weapons are just priceless. There is absolutely nothing out there like a holy hand grenade, singing Halleluiah. With Worms 2, you can get anything from Russian accents to old lady voices, customizing your team to make it unique.
The game play is endless fun, with endless game types to choose from and even online play, every game is different and every terrain is its own. You can even create your own terrains, making them fun filled and making the playerâs tactics change. This is really strictly a party game, the more people, the more fun, the longer you play.
The options for each game can be effected in many ways. First off, you can design your own team, which reflects the playerâs personality and gives the game a little flare. Next, you can create your own landscapes to play on, making it so that you never have to play the same level twice and to make an interesting round of Worms 2. The weapons in worms are fully customizable, how often they drop, how many you start with, and how much damage they do. You can turn certain ones off if you donât like them, and you can turn certain ones up if you love em.
Overall, I think Worms 2 deserves an 8 for an overall goodtime, along with a few laughs. This is a must buy for any strategy gamers and for anyone who is always looking for a good time.
