When you've got a game like Rallisport Challenge, it's obvious that it will become a sleeper hit, and in this case, it is. Now that this game has become a Platnium Hit, you can buy it for $20 anywhere. But, should you spend your $20 on this game? The answer is yes if you're a racing fan, or looking for a good racing game. This game has over 25 cars from Audi, Citroen, Lancia, Ford, Subaru, Toyota, VW, and Mitsubishi, some of which are locked. And with an excellent career mode and awesome multiplayer modes, this is a definite must-buy.
The graphics in this game are so good, you'd swear you were really on the tracks. When your car gets hit, the damage there is so realistic, even your lights go out when you crash really bad. But, beyond the beautiful graphics, there does lie much more. You can put in your own custom soundtrack, race in four different weather conditions, including ice and desert areas, and take part in an endearing career mode.
Also, when you bump into another car on the race track, you can push them off the track, making you go for first place. But, this can also happen to you, too. Possibly one of the greatest aspects in this game is the career mode. You go through many different areas in the game and at the same time get to practice your racing skills for when you go against other competitors. This has simply the best single-player experience ever in a racing game since Gran Tursimo 3 (PS2).
So, the question is not if you should rent it, try it, or borrow it, the question is, Should I buy it right now? This game is a must-buy. And for $20, you should definitely run to your video game store and buy it for your Xbox or PC.
